I knew curry since a long time ago. Looking at the picture of it from those comic books I used to read drooled me a lot. I never had it, until I moved to Jakarta, where this beautiful Japanese food could be found easily.
Introducing Coco Curry, a renowned curry chain from Japan which had many branches overseas. Grand Indonesia is one lucky mall to have Coco Curry in it. I heard so many great feedback about it, so I was soooo excited to grab a plate right away!
Chicken curry cutlet with vegetables (78k)
level 1 spiciness, standard rice portion.
I love how we could modify the size of rice and the spiciness of the curry. I had it level 1 and it hooked me! Spicy curry with the domination of black pepper. The curry was fragrant, surely the highlight of the plate, accompanied with cuts of carrot and potato. This generous portion of curry really won my heart.
Chicken cutlet omelette curry. (70k)
Just when I thought that things could not get any better, it did. The omelette on top was really soft, a sensation of melt-in-your-mouth. Totally in love with this one! This one was served in standard rice and unmodified spiciness. I had this one upgraded with mini salad, and the salad was quite good.
